Kamon R

As the youngest child in a blended family of ten children, Kamon learned at a very early age the importance of family, cooperation and caring.  In his 20 years he has proven himself to be an obedient, loving, helpful and kind son and brother as well as friend.

His quiet confidence, easy intelligence and 6'5" athletic frame makes him standout in any crowd.  Although quite skilled as a basketball player he chose to focus his attention on academics rather than organized sports.

On November 6, 2010 Kamon's life was forever changed when he fell from a 3 story balcony and broke his spine, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.  He did not return to school but with the help of family, friends and Project Walk Atlanta he is recovering and creating a new life in his new body.  Since his injury he has found a passion and talent for music.  He produces, writes and raps his original compositions.  He and his brother have recorded several CD's and have performed their on music stages throughout Atlanta.
